How much time in advance should I order your services for my event?
We recommend booking at least 3 weeks ahead. However, if you party falls into one of the high-seasons (September-January, March-June), we recommend calling us as soon as you have the date of you party set.
How much space would you need? What should the caterer provide?
Generally, we need an area of approximately 8’x16’, two tables and two chairs. Also, we need access to electricity.
Do you go to XYZ catering hall / country club / temple?
Yes. Anywhere. Nationwide.
Can you do 2 hour event?
Our minimum is 4 hours for private events (weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs sweet sixteen) and 3 hours for corporate events.
My event is 5 hours. Can I order you for 4 hours, and decide if I want to extend?
Yes, provided that your event is the evening event. For the afternoon events, we’d need to make sure that our staff can make to the evening event. So please inquire for specifics.
Do you photo favors have labels? Can I customize them?
Yes, each photo is customized with the event name and date.
What if a guest just wants to do simple, one-color background. Is that possible?
Absolutely. We can definitely keep things simple with no fuss, while offering a variety of choices to other guests.
Do you do weddings? I need something elegant for my wedding!
Absolutely. Our stations provide the most elegant alternative to photo-booths. They are also much more fun, much faster and within the same price-range.
I have 600 guests. Can you handle it?
Yes. First, we have multiple systems/teams who can handle many events at the same time, or a few large ones! There were 22,000 attendees at the largest event we’ve handled. Yes, it’s not a typo – twenty two
thousands! It was a family day at a large helicopter manufacturer. We had 4 systems there and printed out over 2500 pictures over 5 hours. So yes, we can handle large events.
Can you provide special backgrounds to match the party theme?
Yes. We can customize our background offerings to blend in and match the theme. As a matter of fact, because of requests like this we have expanded our library to include travel images, photos with celebrities, New York New York theme, old-western photos, holiday season winter theme and many more.
How many photos can you do make during an event?
Our capacity runs at 50-60 prints per hour. Realistically, we can make up to 200 photo favors during a 4-hour, 2-attendants party.
Will each guest get one?
We’ll try our best to make sure each guests will get at least one picture! We strive to satisfy every single guest. Some guests, however, will not want a picture, whereas some would want more than one. It is not uncommon to see kids leaving the parties with their hands-full of our pictures.
Can you take pictures of groups of 3 (4,5,6..)?
Yes. We can take large groups and print enough pictures for all participants.
Company XYZ quoted me $100 less. Why shouldn’t I go for the cheaper option?
A few things. We offer customized software that NO OTHER COMPANY has, simply because it was specifically created for Foto Novelty, under requirements of the highest output preserving the highest photo quality. (other companies use green-screen editing software that is not suitable for the on-the-spot production but rather for less time-sensitive studio work). Our staff’s professionalism and friendliness is guaranteed and is unparalleled in our business. Our setup is clean and professional, with the picture choices presented on a sleek plasma TV screen.
What about the quality? Do you use photo paper / ink / printer?
We use only OEM supplies: i.e. inks by Canon (no cheap refills etc), glossy photographic paper and highest quality professional equipment.
Can you provide any references?

Do I get a CD of all the pictures taken at the event?
On request, we can provide a CD with all the pictures taken during the event.
What is MyPictureDownload.COM?
It’s a free online web-album of final version of pictures accessible to you and your guests. The password to the web-album is printed on business-card-sized cards and handed out to your guests at our booth. Click here for more info.
Can you make X,Y,Z photo favors that are not on your website?
We can make virtually any photo-favors available from our competitors. Please let us know your interests and we’d be more than happy to show you a sample of how we’d do it better and faster!
My DJ told me they would provide photo favors. Why bother with your company?
DJ companies usually provide simple photo favors. Most of the time there’s no green-screen processing, leaving your guests with average photo favors. Yes, they are good quality, but the selection and speed are limited. So is fun. Insist on Foto Novelty’s systems – your DJ may already have a relationship with Foto Novelty.
